How to type in other currency symbol £ or ¥ ?

To type in the currency symbol

Please Click Start Menu> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools > CHARACTER MAP
then select and copy £ or ¥ then paste it to Options>Regional>Currency symbol field

OR use the Alt key + numbers on your numeric keypad

use the codes below if you are using any Windows OS.

ALT+0128 = € for Euro Currency Symbol
ALT+0162 = ¢ for Cent sign
ALT+156 = £ for Sterling Pound
ALT+0165 = ¥ for Yen Sign
